El Paso Artists Breathing Life & Color Into South Central’s Railyard District
El Paso artists are coming together for a one-of-a-kind art exhibit in El Paso's South Central Railyard District.
El Paso artists are on the cusp of a fascinating underground art scene that’s percolating to the surface across the city, including South Central’s Railyard District.
Just off of the Texas Ave. off-ramp (off Copia St.), a few blocks from EPIC Railyard Event Center, tucked on the corner, is where you’ll find an orange brick building (New York-style loft) that is hosting some of El Paso’s most talented and up-and-coming artists.
Orange Brick Eclectic (OBE) came about through a group of local artists who joined forces to give each other a leg-up on exposure, outreach, and overall support for the arts in our community.
Johnny Galindo, aka Slasher Wave, and two other local artists, Victor “Masks” Casas and Brian Holt, invited other artists to participate in the first-ever art collective gallery space in El Paso.
Orange Brick Eclectic highlights various artists from different backgrounds and genres, giving El Paso's homegrown talent some much-needed exposure.
Attendees will be in awe of what each artist has done with their designated wall space, corner, or room, each bursting with colorful renderings, sculptures, photography, printmaking, murals, ceramics, blacklight rooms, and many more fantastical pieces of art.
Orange Brick Eclectic will feature over 30 artists, including Juan Saldivar, whose art gives Salvador Dali vibes.
Led by his imagination, Daniel Luna takes his drawings and breaths life into them by creating these hauntingly beautiful sculptures.
Adrian Joshua Wolf’s corner will mesmerize and transport the viewer into another dimension courtesy of few goddess guides.
Artists such as Mario Alonzo Perez will also have plenty of prints and original works of art on sale, with a portion of the proceeds going back into the art collective.
This weekend discover El Paso’s hottest rising artists bringing their worlds to life in South Central’s Railyard District.
