Celebrate Earth Day In El Paso With Free Pet Adoptions
This year, El Paso Animal Services celebrates Earth Day with free pet adoptions during the Reduce, Reuse, ReLove Campaign.
This weekend, El Paso residents who have been considering adding a pet to their family can take advantage of free pet adoptions while helping the environment.
According to El Paso Animal Services, anywhere between 50 and 100 pets enter the shelter each day. The Reduce, Reuse, ReLove Campaign is a new initiative that aims to bring hope to shelter pets by offering free pet adoptions while celebrating Earth Day.
Adopting from a shelter can help ease overcrowding and save lives, is more affordable, and can help break the cycle of pet overpopulation.
Pet adoption makes a considerable impact not just for our environment but for the pet themselves, giving these poor lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals a second chance at a new life in a loving home.
Plus, having a pet companion can significantly boost a person's mood and health, such as lowering blood pressure and better physical activity.
