The Animal Services Shelter is looking for artists to help them create an art piece to liven up their facility.

The Department of Animal Services will host an art workshop that will support the creation of a mosaic mural by local artists Katie Gelinas and Terry Wright. The mosaic will create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests and welcome potential adopters to the shelter as they enter the outdoor kennel area and play yard.

This is where you come in.

More than one hundred tiles will be used to create the mosaic, but the Shelter needs help in painting them. The workshop will be open to anyone in the El Paso community who wishes to be a part of the painting process, and help give the mosaic a personal touch.
