El Paso And Las Cruces School And Business Closures For Friday January 23rd [UPDATED]

El Paso got slammed a bit with snow Thursday morning and afternoon. Because of that weather, there will be closures and delays Friday morning that you need to know about.

As of 6:15 a.m. Friday morning:
EPISD – YISD - Socorro – San Elizario – Canutillo – Gadsden – Tornillo - Las Cruces - Will have a 2 hour delayed start Friday morning.
Clint ISD – Fabens on regular schedule.
Fort Bliss – First duty call is at 9 am.
UTEP – EPCC Will open at 10 a.m. Friday morning.
El Paso County Courthouse and County Offices - Will open at 10 a.m.
El Paso VA - Delayed start Friday until 10 a.m.
City of Las Cruces offices - Delayed opening Friday at 10 a.m.
NMSU Las Cruces and Dona Ana campuses - Will open at 10 a.m. Friday morning.
Las Cruce Public Schools - Will be on a two-hour delay of all LCPS schools on Friday.
La Fe Prep – Delayed start Friday 10 a.m.
Faith Christian Academy – Delayed start Friday by 2 hours
Immanuel Christian School - 10 a.m. start
Lydia Patterson - Delayed Start Friday 2hr delay.
Innovative Learning Academy - Delay start by 2 hrs. Daycare open at 9 a.m. School at 10 a.m.
El Paso Academy Charter High School (East & West) - Morning classes delayed until 9:45 a.m. Afternoon classes at regular 12:30 p.m. start time
Milan Institute of Cosmetology - 2 hour delay
City of El Paso One Stop Shop adjusts Friday operational hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Court 5 Judge Robledo – 7:00 a.m. & 8:00 a.m.
Court 3 Judge Bonilla – 7:30 a.m. & 8:30 a.m.
YMCA - Will reopen at 9 a.m.
Western Technical College – No delays announced
Workforce Solutions Borderplex – No Delays Announced
Volar Center for Independent Living - Closed Friday.

EPISD - Will have a 2 hour delayed start Friday morning.

Clint ISD - Will keep an eye on weather conditions overnight and road conditions in the morning and decide by 5 a.m. if there will be a change to the regular school schedule.

Socorro ISD – All schools will start 2 hours from their regular start time Friday morning.

San Elizario ISD - Will start 2 hours from their regular start time Friday morning. Only Loya Primary School MORNING half-day Prekindergarten classes are cancelled. Buses will pick up at the designated bus stop on a two hour delayed schedule.

Canutillo ISD - Will have a 2 hour delayed start Friday morning.

UTEP - Will open at 10 a.m. Friday morning.

EPCC - School and offices will open at 10 a.m. Friday morning.

El Paso County Courthouse - Will have a delayed start Friday morning and open at 10 a.m..

El Paso County Offices - Will have a delayed start and open at 10 a.m.

El Paso VA - Delayed start Friday until 10 a.m.

City of Las Cruces offices - Delayed opening Friday at 10 a.m.

Gadsden ISD - Delayed start Friday. Will open 2 hours after regular start times.

NMSU Las Cruces and Dona Ana campuses - Will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday morning.

El Paso Parks and Rec - Recreation, Senior and Aquatics Centers along with Daycare/Pre-School Operations will have a delayed opening until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Call 373-6708 for more information.

Las Cruce Public Schools - Will be on a two-hour delay of all LCPS schools on Friday. Before-school activities and morning practices are cancelled Friday morning. Classes for the Developmentally Delayed (DD) preschool program will not be held Friday; DD preschool afternoon classes will be on a normal schedule. Breakfast will not be served at all schools Friday morning; lunch will be served as normal. The LCPS Administration Building will also be on a two-hour delay Friday morning.
