Easter weekend will be egg-stra-special at the El Paso Zoo.

That's because the Easter Bunny will be making a hippity hoppity stoppity there on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, and he's promising an egg-cellent adventure for children of all ages.

To make things even more egg-citing this year, the El Paso Zoo will be combining the EggstravaganZoo celebration with Party for the Planet, the zoo’s annual Earth Day event. The two-parties-in-one is the result of Easter Sunday falling nearly 3 weeks later than last year and one day before Earth Day, observed annually on April 22. The double celebration will mean double the fun.

According to the event post, egg-tivities include  magic shows, inflatables, and Eggtivity Stations with candy for the kids. Watch the zoo animals go on their own egg hunts for eggrichment treats. You and the kids can have fun while getting an eggucation about our Earth's resources, and discover nests and habitats with real eggs.

EggstravaganZoo is free with zoo admission. All activities except photos with the Easter Bunny, which begin at $10, and some regular Zoo activities, such as riding the train or feeding the giraffes, are free.

If you need more details or have questions, hit up El Paso Zoo Facebook because I'm all out of egg puns. You might say I've eggs-austed them all.  Ha! Okay, now I'm done.
