Someone Needs to Explain Eerie Figure Caught on El Paso Door Cam
A home security recording taken at the Trevino Place apartments of an eerie shadow figure and shared on the Instagram account FitFam El Paso has many social media users exclaiming, “Oy, cucuy!”
Depending on your level of belief, shadow people are either supernatural apparitions, extra-dimensional inhabitants of another universe, optical illusions, or some kind of camera malfunction. But one thing I think we can all agree on is whatever they are they’re scary and ominous-looking AF.
Shadow or Shadow Person?
The 20 second clip captures a black human-like mass moving from right to left and looks like it comes out of the wall of one apartment...
then disappears into the apartment across the hall.
Instagram user @uberxdoms, who is credited with submitting the video, said he became aware of the mysterious figure after receiving a motion notification from the camera. “[I] checked it out [and] I was like ohh shiii,” he wrote.
Some in the comment section don't believe his capture is anything sinister or otherworldly writing it off to "a camera malfunction of a person" or simply just "a shadow".
Shadow of a Doubt
Until this clip hit the 'net, Trevino Place on Edgemere wasn't even on my haunted apartment complex radar, but according to Instagram user smnt4a:
Those apartments are haunted. The first buildings top apartment had a young boy who hung himself in his closet. From downstairs every other night, you could still hear kicking from the closet.
But that doesn't explain this particular video as whatever or whoever this is is much bigger and taller than a young boy.
Maybe it’s a shadow person, or maybe a shadow cast by an actual person. Like I always say when it comes to matters of the paranormal and the supernatural: we report, you decide.
