A parade and free city-wide egg hunts are just a couple of the family-friendly Easter events happening this weekend. Here's the Official List of Easter Eggtivities you and the kids can hippity-hop to.

Northeaster Parade

The 41st Annual Transmountain Optimist NorthEaster Parade is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20. The yearly procession up Diana will feature floats, marching bands and this year’s grand marshal: The El Paso Rhinos. Due to construction, this year’s route will differ slightly. [More Info]

El Paso Chihuahuas Easter Sunday Day Game & 5,000 Egg Hunt

The team's first time ever game on Easter Sunday will be an Easter Eggstravanganza featuring a post-game on-field egg scramble. [More Info]

Easter at the Zoo

Eggscitement awaits at ExtravaganZoo. The Easter Bunny and some of his friends will be handing out candy and posing for photos. Watch the Zoo animals go on their own special egg hunts. Saturday and Sunday, April 20-21. Free with zoo admission. [More Info]

Free City-Wide Egg Hunts

The City of El Paso Parks and Rec Department will be hosting free Easter Egg Hunts Saturday, April 20, at various recreation centers throughout the city. [More Info]

Freedom Crossing Easter Egg Adventure

The Ft. Bliss open-air mall will hold its 7th annual Easter Egg Adventure on Friday, April 19, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids can drop in at participating mall stores and restaurants and collect free candy-filled eggs "trick-or-treat style." Other fun activities include "meet and greet opportunities" with the Easter Bunny. [More Info]

Easter Egg Hunt + Recreational Swimming

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department hosts its annual April Pools Day Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 20, at the Armijo Aquatic Center. The free egg hunt, which takes place in the shallow end of the pool, begins at 10 a.m. Participants can then swim for free. [More Info]

Easter-A-vaganza at Biggs Park

Family fun for everyone, including free photos with the Easter bunny, a 24 Carrot Egg Quest, as well as activities and games. Saturday, April 20,  from 12 to 4 p.m. at Biggs Park. Event is open to the public. Admission and most activities are free. [More Info]

Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Bash

Westside Community Church hosts this free annual event. Family activities include an egg hunt (12 noon), jumping balloon, face painting, and an appearance by the Easter Bunny. 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Francisco Delgado Park, on Imperial Ridge behind Franklin High School.
