Gus & Goldie Easter Egg Hunt + Free Swimming Highlight City’s April Pools Day Celebration

Hunting for Easter eggs is fun. Hunting for them with Gus & Goldie while taking a dip in the pool, even more fun!

If that sounds like something you'd like to do with the kids Easter weekend, hit up the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department's annual April Pools Day celebration at the Armijo Aquatic Center on Saturday, April 20.

Children up to age 12 are welcome to participate in the free egg hunt in the recreational pool beginning at 10 a.m. Parents are encouraged to walk with their youngsters and gather eggs in the shallow end of the pool. Participants can then swim for free from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Prior to in-pool egg hunt, Gus & Goldie and the El Paso Fire Department Water Rescue Team will provide a water safety presentation for kids about the importance of learning to swim and how to stay safe in and around water.

10:15 a.m. – 10:25 a.m. (ages 4 and under)
10:30 a.m. – 10:40 a.m. (ages 5 – 7)
10:45 a.m. – 10:55 a.m. (ages 8 – 12)
Free swim from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
