If you’re looking for a fun Easter outing with the fam, consider spending the afternoon at the ballpark.

The El Paso Chihuahuas second homestand of the 2019 season is underway, and for the first time ever the team will host a day game on Easter Sunday.

Chico knows it wouldn’t be Easter without a good old-fashioned egg hunt, so Sunday’s game will be an Easter Eggstravanganza featuring one of the biggest Easter Egg Hunts in the city.

Kids 12 years of age and under can participate in the first ever Chico's Easter Egg Scramble after the last out. According to the team website, the post-game egg hunt will consist of 5,000 candy-and-toy-filled eggs “laid in the outfield ready for hunting!” Egg hunts will be divided into age groups and sections to avoid bigger kids trampling the smaller ones.

Plus, since Sunday games are Kids Day Sundays, all kids also get to run the bases after the game.

Baseball, hot dogs, egg hunt; sounds like an eggcellent Easter Sunday to me. I’m pretty sure every bunny will have a good time. Alright, I'm all out of egg puns. You might say I've eggs-austed them all. Ha! Okay, now I'm all out.
