From Cumbias to Classic Rock, Alfresco! Fridays 2019 Band Lineup Has Something for Everyone

From Cumbias to Classic Rock, Retro to Country, the 17th season of Alfresco! Fridays returns with lots of fan favorites.

The 2019 band lineup of Alfresco! Fridays is out, and this year there's going to be a total of 17 Friday's of music, dancing, Margaritas, and food from May 3 through August 23.

The fun starts May 3 with a pre-Cinco de Mayo performance by Tribes, and ends on August 23 with a dance party by Afro wig-wearing El Paso favorites Fungi Mungle.

Alfresco! Fridays takes place at the Convention Center Plaza in front of the Convention Center in Downtown El Paso, and features free fresh-air performances from many hometown favorites, which this year also includes Radio La Chusma , Azucar, Prime 80’Z Band, and Frontera Bugalu.

All Alfresco! Fridays concerts are free, with the end of the work-week parties getting underway at 6 p.m. Food and drinks including burgers, Street Tacos, hot dogs, Nachos and adult beverages are available for purchase.
