Another El Paso Public Pool Closes for Repairs

The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department will be closing the William W. Cowan Aquatic Center for repairs starting tomorrow, Sept. 2, 2015.

With summer in full effect El Pasoans are looking to stay cool and that includes taking a dip at their local public pool.

However, the William W. Cowan Aquatic Center located at 8100 Independence Dr., will be closed temporarily from Wednesday, Sept. 2, thru Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, for pool repairs and is set to re-open on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015.

During the temporary closure, patrons can use the closest indoor pool at 1500 Hawkins Boulevard or the nearby outdoor facility at Pavo Real Pool 110 Presa Place.
