Summer is right around the corner which means families are getting ready to head to the pools once the weather gets warmer and El Paso’s Parks and Recreation Department is hoping to hire lifeguards to make sure those families are safe while out at these pools, but wait! There's more! The city is offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

I need floaties to swim in the deep part of any pool so it’s safe to say I won't be applying for this job. *sad cry* But if this looks like a job for you or someone you know then the City is encouraging you to apply!

“To the rescue! Lifeguards needed!” read a post shared to the City’s Facebook page.
