The band line-up for the 2017 season of Music Under the Stars is out, and this year's mix includes popular local bands, tribute acts, and two national recording acts.

Canadian reggae fusion band Magic!, who had the #1 hit single "Rude" in 2014, and the internationally known L.A. based Ozomatli are joined by El Paso's Chuco Soul Project and Team Havana, as well as a Journey and Brookes & Dunn tribute band.

Like last year, the 34th season of MUTS will be split evenly between Cohen Stadium and the Chamizal National Memorial, with the first four concerts taking place at the old ballpark in Northeast El Paso in June, and all of July’s performances — including the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and the popular Noche Ranchera — at the Chamizal.

Music Under the Stars is one of El Paso’s signature summer events, and a favorite for area families who want to end their weekend with a chill night of picnics, music, and dancing. All concerts are on Sundays from 7:30-9:30 p.m., with the exception of the July 4 concert and firework spectacular, which will be on a Tuesday and start a half hour earlier.
