What I Would Do If I Won $5,000

93.1 KISS FM is giving away up to $5,000 in cash every weekday with the Win Word. Every weekday at 9:20, 1:20 and 4:20, we broadcast a "Win Word". You qualify to win up to $5,000 when you type in the Win Work at kisselpaso.com. So I started wondering what I would do if I won the money. Hmmm. I would definitely take an awesome trip to New York City.

My trip would begin at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square. One of the best hotels in the hottest night spot in NYC. Time Square is where you'll find all the action.  A room with a view of Time Square goes for about $500 per night. Well within my $5,000 budget.

One of the best things about NYC is there is so much to do and see. Way too many amazing restaurants to cover them all. One of my favorites is Emmets. They have the best deep dish pizza. NYC is the unofficial pizza capital of the world so this pizza is amazing. The atmosphere is very New York. People drinking pints as the massive crowds walk by your window. After lunch, walk around near by SoHo. A trendy area of NYC perfect for sight seeing and shopping. Look out for Celebs.

Of course, you have to experience the arts while in NYC. Broadway is alive with theatrical performances all around the mid town (Times Square) area. Tickets can be expensive but you can get discounted tickets (day of show) at TKTS on 47th and Broadway. It will save you a ton of money.

Before rapping up my trip to the Big Apple, I would take a dinner cruise around the Statue of Liberty and Lower Manhattan. This a must, once in a lifetime experience. You have to dress up for the dinner cruise. Men not wearing a coat for dinner will not be allowed to board. The yacht leaves from Pier 61. The cruise includes a ride down the Hudson River with the most AMAZING views of lower Manhattan, New Jersey and the Statue of Liberty. All under the night time sky. Their are many dinner cruises available but I'm going with Bateaux. Dinner cruises usually go for about $150. Great price for NYC. This is not an endorsement.
