Vandals Tried Dimming El Paso’s Star On The Mountain But It’s Still Shining
Alright kids, this is why we can’t have nice things!! Because ya’ll like to vandalize things.
Last week, the El Paso Chamber shared the news that El Paso’s iconic Star on the Mountain would be off for several nights as a result of vandalism. According to the chamber someone vandalized the electrical structure.
"We know the importance of the Star to our community, and we are working diligently to get it back up and operational quickly," a spokesperson stated.
And that they did! This past Wednesday El Paso Chamber officials announced that the Star on the Mountain would be shining bright yet again.
Now, this isn't the first time El Paso’s Iconic star on the mountain has been vandalized.
Last time someone tried messing with the star they decided to record it and post it online so of course, they were caught.
However, this time around there has been no evidence yet on who exactly vandalized the star.
The Chamber says it is still looking for a suspect in the vandalism and is looking for ways to prevent future vandalism.
