UTEP students, alumni and the general public looking for employment have a chance to connect with more than 80 potential employers this week.

The University of Texas El Paso Career Center is hosting its annual Career Connections Job Fair this Thursday and Friday, Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 in the Tomás Rivera Conference Center, Union Building East, 3rd floor.

The Career Connections 2017 Job Fair is an opportunity to connect with more than 80 federal, state, local, national and private organizations in a wide range of fields regarding full-time or part-time employment and internship opportunities.

ADP, El Paso Electric Company, Las Palmas Del Sol Regional Healthcare System, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft Corp., U.S. Department of State, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are just a few of the prospective employers participating.

On Thursday, Feb. 2, the focus of the job fair will be on majors in the colleges of Business and Liberal Arts. Friday, Feb. 3, the focus will be on majors in engineering and science, but everyone is encouraged to attend regardless of major as most prospective employers will be in attendance on both days.

Remember to bring plenty of resumes, and dress appropriately. UTEP student who need help with their resume or other job-related services can get career advising assistance from the University Career Center. Here's a link to their website.
