Hotel Paso del Norte Hosting Another Job Fair Next Week

Looking for work in the hospitality industry? Hit up the Hotel Paso del Norte’s Job Fair on Monday, July 13, 2020.

In anticipation of Hotel Paso del Norte’s reopening the iconic hotel centered in downtown El Paso is providing employment opportunities for job hunters by hosting another job fair on Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Hotel Paso del Norte is steeped in history – the 106 plus year-old hotel is set to reopen to the public this summer featuring 350 rooms, spa, cigar lounge, restaurant, and many more amenities, and will be part of a Marriott Collection Hotel.

Last month the hotel hosted its first job fair to fill various hospitality positions such as wait staff and housekeeping. This month the landmark hotel will be looking to fill more positions including:

• Managers
• Mixologists
• Cooks
• Servers
• Hosts
• Bussers
• Barbacks
• Banquet professionals

The job fair will be taking place at the Hotel Paso del Norte from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 10 Sheldon Court, in downtown El Paso. Job applicants will use the main lobby entrance and head towards Sabor restaurant off the right-wing of the lobby. Applicants are encouraged to bring resumes and driver’s license. Applications will be accepted and interviews conducted onsite.

The job fair will also follow close COVID 19 safety procedures therefore applicants will need to wear face masks and social distancing will be implemented.

The Hotel Paso del Norte was set to open back in March 2020 however, due to the pandemic the date has been pushed back and will open up later this summer.
