Get ready to sing along and two-step to the music of Tyler Farr.

Farr has been tapped to open the 2016 "Let Freedom Sing" free summer concert series that takes place on the event lawn of Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss between June and August.

Considered one of country music’s hottest rising stars, Farr made his big splash on the music scene with 2014's top ten hit “Redneck Crazy." Since then he has been touring with the likes of Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and Lee Brice. His first song off his second album, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar,” recently hit number one on the country charts.

This is the sixth year the open-air mall has hosted the concerts, which are all free and open to the public. Two additional performances will take place this summer. Those dates and acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Tyler Farr show is scheduled for Saturday, June 4 at 7 p.m. El Paso’s own Joe Barron will open.
