5 Places Worth Having Your Next Shopping Spree In El Paso
We all dream of winning a ton of money & we have thoughts on what to do with all that cash. Well one idea is going to support local stores with a shopping spree. And these are some places that you can easily do that:
It may look small, but when you think of souvenir shops in El Paso, this is the place that many people love to go to. They have a ton of homemade food items & locally made souvenirs; perfect gifts for family who live outside of El Paso or who are visiting. Located at 1057 Doniphan.
This is a place for the horror fans & music lover; spooky decorations & rock memorabilia? Oh yeah... that's definitely a place I'd go to. Especially now that there's a spot in the Sunland Park Mall.
All That Music:
Call me old school, but I love going to record stores. There's something magical about finding a record, buying it & taking it back home and putting it on. You don't get that same feeling with Spotify. So yeah, I easily could have a shopping spree at All That Music, or any of the other record stores we have in town.
El Paso Thrift Stores: You'd be amazed at what you can find at thrift stores & El Paso is chock full of thrift stores worth checking out. Ones I recommend are:
- Uptown Cheapsake, 2 in El Paso
- THRFT, 321 E San Antonio
- Estela's Thrift Shop, 3407 Alameda
- The Red Army Salvation Family Store, Savers & Goodwill are always great choices too.
I'm not the only one that likes thrift stores, Joanna wrote about 7 she recommends back in January.
Downtown El Paso:
I know what you're thinking: "Downtown? That's not a shop!". And you're correct. BUT when you go downtown, with literally hundreds of shops there, there's bound to be a few that can grab your attention.
Some of my personal choices include:
- Bella Boutique, 408 S El Paso St . (Hey if you have a girlfriend, a wife, mom, aunt, or grandma, you should spoil them too!)
- The Happy Store, 300 S El Paso St.
- Dave's Pawn Shop, which you might have seen on The Texas Bucket List.
Honorable Mention - Any of the El Paso malls:
Come on let's be honest... you win a ton of money, going to the mall is almost a no brainer. But which one? Well any of them really. Bassett, Cielo Vista, Sunland Park, The Fountains, Outlet Shoppes or Freedom Crossing at Ft. Bliss... all have national & local places you can shop around at for hours. It's whichever one YOU prefer.
