Brett Young to Perform at First ‘Let Freedom Sing’ Concert of 2017

Newcomer Brett Young has been tapped to open the 2017 Let Freedom Sing Free Summer Concert Series at Fort Bliss.

Considered one of country music’s hottest rising stars, Young's first single off his self-titled debut album made a big splash on the Country music charts. “Sleep Without You” went all the way to number one, and the accompanying video has amassed nearly 17 million views since its release.

The Brett Young concert is set for Saturday, May 13 on the event lawn of Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss.

El Paso native and former Voice contestant Valerie Ponzio will open for Young.

This is the seventh year the open-air mall has hosted the concerts. Two additional performances will take place this summer. Those dates and acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Let Freedom Sing concerts are free and open to the public.
