Yelp just released their list of the top 25 local bookstores in Texas and two spots in El Paso made the cut.

Before tablets and smart phones existed so-called bookworms would peruse local bookstores to find their next great read.

I've always loved the atmosphere of a cozy, locally owned bookstore. Although there are way less of them today, thankfully enough have survived the internet age that old school book lovers and future generations of readers can still physically hold a book in their hands.

So many books, so little time. That's actually a good problem to have.

An historic house at 1307 Arizona is where this unique bookstore calls home. And because it is a converted bungalow, it has a very cozy vibe to it.

Each room is filled floor to ceiling with books and there's comfortable looking seating for those who want to crack open a book and chill which gives lends itself to the laid-back atmosphere that it projects.

Oh, and then there's Yofi the Brave Books cat.

Books-wise they have children's books, biographies, fiction, art, philosophy, poetry. "We sell a great variety of quality new, like new and used books for prices averaging less than half of B&N."
