Over 6,000 feet uphill and 6,000 feet downhill! The first True Texas Mountain Race! And it’s happening this Saturday, Nov. 14.

This race is unlike any other 5K because you will go from the desert floor to the top of the North Franklin Peak and circumnavigate the mountain back to the finish line. Expect to see the sunrise as you climb to the top of the North Franklin Peak. Looking over the skyline you will be able to see mountains from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and across the Mexican Border! Absolutely beautiful views!

The Franklins are the largest sustained mountain range in Texas, with the summit of North Franklin Peak rising to an elevation of 7,192 feet, approximately 3,000 feet above the city below. You are in for a treat! Visit the website for more information.
