An El Pasoan Could Be WatchCableTV’s Next ‘Thrilltern’ And Get Paid To Watch Horror Movies
Are you a horror buff? Do you laugh at the Saw movies? Can you name every slasher from Jason to Art??
Well then, buddy, do I got the job for you!
CableTV.com has this awesome thing they do where they offer people a DREAM JOB! Well, if you're the kind of person who dreams of watching movies all day and getting paid for it, then this is your dream job.
The Dream Jobs list includes watching movies for different holidays mostly. El Paso's very own Grizz from KISS FM was actually The Chief of Cheer in 2024 and got paid a good chunk of cash to watch 25 Christmas movies in 25 days. So keep an eye out for THAT application!

For now though, spooky season is upon us and YOU could be the next THRILLTERN!!!
You would be getting paid $666 to brave the world of horror cinema!! But be quick, because the application period ends on October 11th! Oh, you also get a $50 Uber Eats gift card because watching movies is hard work and you need a good meal.
And the best part? This year, CableTV.com is choosing THREE big winners to get paid to watch movies!
Here is what the CableTV.com site says about the Thrillternship!
What will the Thrilltern do?
Your duties will be similar to those of last year’s Thrilltern. Should we select you as one of our three Thrillterns, you’ll have very simple duties (just like a real intern, bless their still-beating hearts).
You’ll fire up Shudder, Screambox, or another streaming service, watch your favorite creepshows, and share your thoughts about the films and which horror characters — in any horror movie — stand out as the bravest or most brutal. Then we’ll turn your hot takes into our next featured Bloodstream article.
Who we want to hire for the Thrillternship
We’re not picky. You can’t be, when you’re hiring Thrillterns. All we want are warm bodies who bleed horror. That doesn’t mean you’re out of luck if you’re in the sub-98.6 club. CableTV.com is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against applicants with low body temperatures.
We do, however, require you to have a pulse, at least 18 years of life experience, and U.S. residency. That, and a passion for horror bordering on obsession. Not required: a body count, kill room, or the ability to contort yourself like “Other Mommy.”
So don't be slow!! Go apply NOW!! Especially if you bleed horror movies!!
