Several high schools will be celebrating their homecoming with parades this week, therefore Sun Metro will be required to detour various routes on Wednesday, September 21, 2016.

Franklin, Bel Air, Irvin and Hanks High School Homecoming Parades will have Sun Metro detours in effect for about an hour depending on the length and pace of each parade. All of them will begin at 6 p.m. on September 21, with Sun Metro drivers making courtesy stops along the detoured routes as needed.

Detour for Franklin High School Parade

Route 14

Buses traveling outbound, northwest onto Westwind will continue on Redd.

Buses traveling inbound, east onto Redd will turn left onto High Ridge, left on Resler, left onto Belvidere, right onto Westwind and return to regular route.

Route 17

Buses traveling outbound, southeast from Lakehurst will make a left onto Mary Stuart, left onto Royal Arms, left onto Bristol, right onto Lakehurst, right onto Thorn, left onto Redd and return to regular route.

Route 19

Buses traveling outbound, west from Belvidere will make a left onto Westwind, right onto Redd, left onto High Ridge, right onto Resler and return to regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, west from Redd will make a right onto High Ridge, left onto Resler and return to regular route.

Detour for Bel Air High School Parade

Route 63

Bus stops will be affected between Giles and Glendale, southbound and will experience delays between the hours of 5:42 p.m. and 6:42 p.m.

Bus stops will be affected between Glendale and Giles, northbound and will experience delays between the hours of 5:54 p.m. and 6:54 p.m.

Route 65

Buses traveling outbound, northeast from Lilac will make a left turn onto Mauer, left onto Lafayette, right onto Yermoland and return to regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, northeast from Yermoland will make a left on Lafayette, right onto Mauer, right onto Lilac, left onto Caroline and return to regular route.

Route 67

Buses traveling outbound, southwest from Yarbrough will make a right onto Lafayette, right onto Gateway East, left onto Lomaland turn around lane, left onto Gateway West, right onto Yarbrough and return to regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, south from Yarbrough will make a left turn onto Gateway East, right onto Lafayette, left onto Yarbrough and return to regular route.

Detour for Irvin High School Parade

Route 40

Buses traveling outbound, south from North Gate Terminal will make a U-Turn to the right and exit onto the south end of the driveway and will take a left onto Diana, left onto Hondo Pass, left onto Vicksburg, right onto Wren, left onto Waverly, left onto Threadgill, right onto Rutledge and return to regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, south from Dyer will make a left on Diana and use the south end driveway onto the North Gate Terminal.

Route 44

Buses traveling outbound, west from N. Joe Herrera will take a right onto Raymond Telles, right onto Hollings and return to regular route.

Buses traveling inbound, east from McCombs/Transmountain from Hollings will make a left onto Raymond Telles and onto Northgate Terminal.

Route 46

Buses traveling outbound will not be affected.

Buses traveling inbound, west from McCombs/Transmountain from Joe Herrera will make a left onto Vicksburg, right onto Hondo Pass, right onto Hollings, left onto Raymond Telles and onto the Northgate Terminal.

Detour for Hanks High School Parade

Route 67

Buses traveling outbound, south from Lee Trevino and Montwood will make a left onto Pebble Hills, right onto East Glenn, right onto Sam Snead, left onto Lee Elder, right onto Montwood, left onto Lee Trevino and return to regular route.
