Starbucks Christmas Cups Are In Stores Now
You know how much I love me a latte from Starbucks, and this week, they unveiled their Christmas cups. The cups have been controversial in years past because there were some people who felt that they didn't honor the birth of Christ because they don't mention Christmas on the cup. I don't really mind that the word Christmas isn't on the cup because, hello, it's just a disposable coffee cup. This of this year's coffee cups is 'Merry Coffee'. Ok, it's not 'Peace on Earth, Good Will To Men', but it's just a coffee cup. I'm not in church, I'm in Starbucks.
If fall is the season of Pumpkin Spice lattes, then winter is definitely the season of red and green Starbucks cups. This year their cups have official names - Polka Dots, Merry Dance, Merry Stripes and Candy Cane Stripes. According to Starbucks, their cups were designed to "evoke little moments of joy." Well, I gotta tell you, when I grab my morning latte, I feel the joy. You'll feel the joy even more when you get a holiday drink because you can get a free reusable cup while supplies last.
