I hung out at Southwest University Park a lot this summer. Darren and I watched the El Paso Chihuahuas play a lot of great baseball, but who knew that one of the players we watched would be the hero in this season's pennant race?

Travis Ishikawa's home run blast out of the park Thursday night sent the San Francisco Giants to the World Series where they will face the Kansas City Royals. But, Ishikawa spent some time this summer in the Giant's Triple A team out of Fresno, and played in El Paso. While he was here, he hit a home run out of Southwest University Park, and it ended up Santa Fe Street!

Pretty cool to see the hero of the hour in San Francisco in our ballpark! Here is his walk off homer from Thursday night:

Thanks for the memories, Travis Ishikawa and El Paso Chihuahuas!
