Ladies and Gentlemen of the Class of 2018 ...

This is the time of the year when local politicians, scholars, and well-known faces in the community are asked to deliver words of wisdom to the high school seniors who are about to embark on the next phase of their lives.

Many of these commencement speakers will tell grads to go forth and change the world, or that if they apply themselves they can be whatever they want to be. And that's all good and fine, but I think what we really should be doing is preparing teens for what adult life is going to be like.

We cherry-picked some of that sage advice and set it to music, à la that late ‘90s spoken word "song," Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen). You can listen to the results below, and read all of them here.
