Mike and I got the chance to host the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Christmas event, Cookies, Cocoa, and Holiday Cheer on Friday night. There were hundreds of people on the amazing campus and they got free cocoa, cookies and other goodies, and a great light show. Disney princesses Elsa and Anna from Frozen showed up with the Snow Sisters and they sang songs to the crowd. Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up, as did the Grinch, who did his best to steal Christmas from the crowd, but he didn't because there was just so much Christmas cheer. We got a performance from the Jefferson/Silva Silver Foxes Marching Band, and even got to watch some of El Paso's favorite mascots dance their tails off in a dance contest.

The El Paso Electric Company sponsored the event, and at the end of the event, we were all treated to an amazing light show that highlighted the gorgeous architecture of the TTUHSC campus. If you haven't been to the campus, you should. It is a beautiful space and there are so many Instagrammable spots. Before the event started, we saw a quinceañera photo shoot, and with the campus lit up, you can take your family and friends out for a stroll through the public art areas of the campus and grab some photos for yourselves.

We took some fun photos while we were there, but I gotta tell you, I'm not the best photographer out there, so bear with me:
