As a parent, you're always looking for the healthiest and safest foods to feed your little one. However, simply just looking at the ingredients list isn't always enough. Your child's food may contain things you never would've guessed were in there.

A report published by the House Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy in September made a startling claim that will make every parent think twice about what they decide to feed their child.

Major manufacturers such as Nurture, Gerber, Campbell, and even Walmart were found to be producing and selling baby foods that had been tainted with high levels of toxic heavy metals, the report found.

These dangerous toxins include arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury, and can significantly affect the developing brains of young babies and toddlers, potentially leading to learning, cognition, and behavioral problems.

To make matters worse is the fact that some of these manufacturers continued to sell the affected products even after they were told that the foods clearly did not meet the Food and Drug Administration's standards.

Have you fed your child products like infant rice cereals, juices, or snack puffs produced by any of these manufacturers? If so, you may be able to take legal action.
