Love in the Heart of El Paso: El Paso’s Downtown Employee Appreciating Day Was A Success

Downtown El Paso is full of so many local small businesses as well as other businesses that range from banks, to restaurants, to law offices, you name it!

Downtown employees work hard and the El Paso Downtown Management District sees that and they decided to show their appreciation to the staff with their annual Downtown Employee Appreciation Day.

The party officially kicked off at 7:45 am when most Downtown employees were heading to work. 

Mills Ave was full of smiling employees that were able to enjoy breakfast to get their day started, free messages, swag items and giveaways for those who hung out at the event!

Lunch was also served for employees and they were greeted by a few Iconic El Paso Mascots including Chico, Ozzy, Gus, and Goldie! 

As the sun set, the festivities kept rolling with a Happy Hour at four of downtown's hottest bars: Rockstar Burger and Bar, The Reagan, Tiki Room, and B17. 

It’s events like this that make me wish I worked in the downtown area. *sigh* But it’s also events like this that make me proud of our city because these kinds of events are a testament to the heart and soul of Downtown El Paso and the people who work there.
