Local Farms Offering Fresh U-Pick Cherries, Pecans & Sweet Treats

Local farms near El Paso are offering fresh U-Pick Cherries, pecans, ice cream, and other sweet treats, and makes for a nice quick getaway for families too.

The coronavirus pandemic has had families stuck indoors for months now. With no place to go, local farms might be a nice reprieve while picking up some fresh fruits and treats for the whole family.

Cadwallader Mountain Farms

Cadwallader Mountain Farms is located about an hour and 45 minutes out of El Paso which makes it a nice drive for families who have been stuck at home due to the coronavirus. The farm offers a fresh bounty of apples and peaches and coming up on June 11^th they will be open for U-Pick Cherries.

Cherries price per pound will be $4.00 with a discount for volume purchases
Hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. / Weekends from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Also, no pets are allowed in the orchard

Ramirez Pecan Farm

Ramirez Pecan Farm is located in Clint, TX, and depending on what side of the city you live on it can be up to a 30-minute drive. This farm offers everything from pecans, a variety of pecan ice cream flavors, zucchini, and banana pecan bread, cookies, biscochos to name but a few of its sweet treats.
