With summer just around the corner the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation Department is offering lifeguard training courses for the next three months and a job fair for those interested in getting certified.

This Saturday in addition to lifeguard training, a job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pat O’Rourke Aquatic Center. The job fair is open to those interested in becoming lifeguards and will help potential lifeguards fill out an application for a job opportunity in the aquatics division of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Job Fair

  • Saturday - February 27 and March 12, 2016
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Opportunity to get assistance on lifeguard pre-test skills and take your swim suit.

Lifeguard Class

  • Armijo Aquatic Center, 911 S. Ochoa St.
  • March 7 to March 10, 2016
  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • $205 per person

Lifeguard Class (Saturdays)
