If you had tickets to Sunday’s Juan Gabriel show here’s what you need to know about getting a refund.

If tickets were purchased with a debit or credit card over the phone or online through Ticketmaster your money will be refunded automatically. How quickly the funds are returned to your account depends on your bank or card company’s policy and could take several days.

If the tickets were bought in person at the UTEP Ticket Center or a Ticketmaster outlet, you must return to that point of purchase to receive your refund. Ticketholders must have the debit or credit card they were bought with and the tickets to receive their reimbursement. Tickets bought with cash will require that tickets be returned as well.

In other words, if you have physical tickets and want to hold on them as a memento your only option is to not seek a refund.

Questions regarding your situation can be directed to the UTEP Ticket Center at 747-5234, or Ticketmaster at 800-653-8000.

Juan Gabriel died unexpectedly at his home in Santa Monica, California on Sunday morning hours before he was scheduled to perform in front of a sold-out audience at the Don Haskins Center. He was 66.
