Go For A Hike Up El Paso’s Ranger Peak With The Wyler Tramway
El Paso has amazing hiking trails that surround the city. You can head east and check out Hueco Tanks and see amazing hieroglyphics and get in some world-class rock climbing. If you are in the northeast part of town, drive up Transmountain and take a walkabout in our amazing Franklin Mountain state park. On Sunday, August 28, you can also take a hike up Ranger Peak in the Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park.
The Tramway will be hosting their Last Sunday Hike beginning at 7:00 a.m. Sounds early, but you'll be glad that it is because you'll be finished with the hike before the heat of the day sets in. The hike is a mile up and you'll be able to take in the famous view from the top of the mountain.
Be ready for the hike by wearing sturdy shoes and a hat. Bring along water and a hiking stick that could help you get up the trail. For more information about the hike, call 915-562-9899.
