Free COVID-19 Testing Sites Now Open At UTEP & Far East El Paso
Two new free COVID-19 testing sites have opened, one at UTEP and another at the Eastside Sports Complex.
Expanded COVOD-19 testing sites have opened today at the request of Mayor Margo, the Office of Emergency Management, the Office of the Governor, and the Texas Department of Emergency Management.
Just last week, I went to get tested and noticed the wait lines were enormously long. I ended up at the Nations Tobin Recreation center and still waited in line for about 2.5 hours.
According to health officials, due to an increased demand for testing, the two new pop-up locations will “enable to reach at least 2,000 more residents” on a daily basis.
