The Fort Bliss Officer and Civilian Spouses’ Association (FBOCSA) announced today that it is accepting applications for its 2014 Merit Scholarships.

FBOCSA scholarships are available to spouses and children of active-duty, reserve-component, retired, and Gold Star service members of ALL RANKS as well as the spouses and children of civilian employees whose sponsor lives in, or is assigned to, the Fort Bliss/El Paso area.

Applications must be postmarked by April 4, 2014.

OCSA is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to organize and sponsor educational, charitable and social activities.

Due to the hard work of FBOCSA volunteers and the generosity of the Fort Bliss and El Paso Communities, the association is pleased to be able to award a total of $25,000 in scholarship monies to students in four categories:  High School Student, College Student, Graduate Student and Student Spouse.  The minimum award will be $1,000.
