Fort Bliss Area Military Families to Receive Holiday Meals

Operation Homefront will be holding a food distribution at Fort Bliss for 500 families. Tomorrow, December 10, 2013 Operation Homefront Southern Plains will hold a Holiday Meal for Military event providing 500 meal kits to local military families. These kits will contain all the necessary items to have a holiday meal for a family of 5. Many lower rank and mid-grade military families will be out on Biggs Army Airfield taking advantage of this great organization. The event will take place at The Centennial Banquet and Conference Center at 11199 Sergeant E Churchill St.

Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit which leads more than 4,500 volunteers  nationwide to provide emergency and other financial assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. Operation Homefront has met more than 750,000 needs of military families since 2002.  Nationally, 95%of total revenue donated to Operation Homefront goes directly to programs that provide support to our military families.
