There’s a food truck roundup happening at the El Paso International Airport.

The El Paso International Airport in partnership with the City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department will be hosting “Food Trucks on the Fly” every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September.

The food truck rally is a part of the “On the Fly” series the airport began last month with the drive-in style movie series "Movies on the Fly," and the upcoming concert series "Music on the Fly."

Food Trucks on the Fly will feature some of the most popular Facebook-stalked food trucks in town for weekend evenings of socially distant al fresco dining of some of the best grub-on-the-go El Paso has to offer.

Each week’s featured food trucks will vary slightly, but you know there’s always going to be something for everyone’s palette. Cuisine options will run the gamut from hamburgers to tacos, to barbecue and cupcakes.

The weekly food event will take place in the south end of the Short-Term lot, which will be set up with a “socially distanced dining area” with access to the newly landscaped plaza walkway and walking paths. Dinner and a stroll anyone?
