El Paso Winterfest Lights Shine on Yelp’s Top 20 Holiday Displays in Texas

Yelp users have acknowledged what we have known for years, San Jacinto Plaza and its surrounding area is home to one of the best Christmas lights displays in the state.

The crowd-sourced reviews site recently published its list of the Top Holiday Lights in Texas 2022 and El Paso’s Winterfest is included.

The Coolest Fest in the Southwest

From its inception in 2015, Winterfest has been a major success providing a blizzard of fun for locals and visitors alike.

With its Winter Wonderland of glimmering lights and family-friendly activities that include an outdoor ice-skating rink, it immediately became the seasonal photo-taking destination.

And it gets bigger and brighter every year.

Among the latest additions to the weekend programming is Holiday Fiestas featuring live performances from local and regional entertainers, and live bands and theme nights at the ice-skating rink.

With an average attendance of 25,000 festive revelers per weekend, Winterfest is arguably our city's top Christmas-themed event.
