Christmas time is ALMOST here so save the date because the “Coolest fest in the Southwest” is coming back to the heart of Downtown El Paso: Winterfest!

On November 23rd, the 2024 El Paso WinterFest kicks off, bringing a whirlwind of twinkling lights, merry moments, and the holiday spirit that’s sure to warm even the chilliest of nights.
WinterFest has been a beloved tradition since 2015, and this year, it’s set to be bigger and brighter than ever.
The festivities begin with a dazzling holiday tree lighting ceremony in San Jacinto Plaza, followed by the Scherr Legate WinterFest Lights Parade and a festive concert afterwards.

Ice Skaters Get Ready To Get Your Skate On!
Get ready to lace up your skates and glide into the holiday spirit because The City of El Paso and Destination El Paso are bringing back The Rink at WinterFest to the Convention Center Plaza from November 23 to January 10, 2025.
Whether you’re a skating pro or a total beginner, this magical downtown experience has something for everyone.
For just $12 a session, you can twirl under the sparkling lights, groove to themed nights like Taylor Swift’s “In My WinterFest Era” or the Disney-inspired “The Happiest Rink on Earth,” and enjoy live music, festive concessions, and holiday markets.
Winterfest Special Promotions:
Don’t miss special promotions like $8 sessions for military and first responders, $5 Mommy & Me Mondays, $4-off Teacher Tuesdays, and more!
Feeling festive? Wear an ugly sweater on Wednesdays for an extra discount. Plus, skating newbies can join Ice Skating 101 sessions every Thursday at 6 p.m.
The Rink is also offering sensory-friendly hours to create an inclusive experience for all. From Monday through Thursday, the first hour of skating is designed with quieter surroundings and reduced stimulation.
