El Paso Parks & Rec Celebrates Dia de Los Ninos with Free Kids Swim Day
How do you make free book day better? Just add water
El Paso Parks and Recreation is celebrating Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros with a free kids Swim Day at 4 aquatic centers across the city.
Dia de los Niños/Dia de los Libros
Dia de los Niños/Dia de los Libros 2023 will take place this Saturday, April 29 at Washington Park located next to the El Paso Zoo at 4201 E. Paisano.
The free book giveaway is the largest and most successful literacy celebration of its type in the Southwest.
This year marks the 27th year of Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros.
As has been the case since its inception, thousands of brand-new books will be given away to children who attend the celebration to encourage them to ditch the screen every now and then and read more.
The daylong event includes live entertainment, jumping balloons, activity booths, and vendors.
