KTSM has reported that beginning Sunday, June 26th, the El Paso Museum of Art will unveil two exhibits featuring photographs of Picasso as well as posters the renowned artist collaborated on to publicizes his exhibits.

Celebrating Picasso: Photographs by David Douglas Duncan will consist of 50 of Duncan’s black and white photos dating as far back as 1956 of the Spanish artist as well as a video interview with David Duncan.

Posting Picasso is organized by El Paso Museum of Art’s Senior Curator Patrick Shaw Cable and will display Picasso posters that have been donated by the estate of Phyllis Bounds. According to KTSM, this exhibit “reveals a realm of the master’s career that combines his artistic creativity with his active self-promotion.

The El Paso Museum of Art is located at One Arts Festival Plaza and admission is free to the public. Hours of operation are 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9am – 9pm on Thursday and 12 noon – 5pm on Sunday.
