School officials of El Paso’s 3 biggest districts have found a way to honor their high school’s Homecoming with an assist from the El Paso International Airport.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all El Paso-area high schools have no choice but to skip traditional homecoming activities this year. So, starting Friday, October 2 through November the airport is lighting up for the night in each respective high school’s colors in a show of support.

In Honor of our community’s students, parents, and alumni who cannot celebrate their High School’s Homecoming this year, we will be lighting the airport in your honor! Each night a different High School’s colors will illuminate the landscaping, walkways, and lobby -- El Paso International Airport (ELP) Facebook

You can check out the daily schedule for October Night Lights below. The November Night Lights schedule is currently being worked on.

Students, parents and alumni are encouraged to take advantage of our comfortable October and November evenings by masking up and visiting the airport to take photos when their school colors are being featured, and a leisurely, socially distanced stroll on the newly landscaped plaza walkway and walking paths featuring some pretty cool public art.

Food Trucks on the Fly is an added bonus on Fridays and Saturdays, as is the live music on weekends. Parking available in the airport short term parking lot for $1 per hour.
