This Saturday, July 16, you have an opportunity to experience Concordia Cemetery in a way you don't get very often: locked in after hours.

The historic graveyard, arguably the most haunted place in El Paso, is the focus of the spooky one-of-a-kind Ghosts & Gravestones tour hosted by Lost El Paso Paranormal.

Part lock-in investigation part ghost walk, you and a handful of others will be the only living breathing souls in the cemetery that night.

Frightening Shadow Figure Roams Concordia

There have been numerous times over the last few months of a sinister shadow person roaming the cemetery. Maybe you'll see it for yourself.

The frightening figure has been caught on camera in the children's section – the area best known for the grave site marked by the iron baby crib. The eerie images below were snapped during a Ghosts & Gravestones Tour on September 18, 2021.

Most recently the skulking figure showed up in a photograph in which it appeared to be strolling among the tombstones.

The G&G walk not only features spine-tingling tales of the graveyard's ghostly apparitions and the creepy happenings that have occurred within the walls of “El Paso's City of the Dead,” but it also offers a look at local tales and legends and gravestone symbolism.

Head Ghost Host Heather Shade encourages attendees to conduct their own paranormal investigation as they follow along. "They are welcome to bring their own devices and paranormal apps on phones. We also have a few goodies like dowsing rods and pendulums that they can experiment with as well."
