Check Out Which EPISD Schools Offer Free Summer Meal Program

Summer can mean food insecurity for a lot of school kids in the El Paso area. To help kids who might not otherwise have breakfast and lunch during the summer, forty-three schools in the El Paso Independent School District will be offering free meals through their Summer Food Service Program. You don't need to apply to get a free summer meal for your kids and teens. Just take your child to one of the participating schools and let your kids enjoy a meal without the hassle of having to fill out an application.

Breakfast and lunch will be served at 18 elementary schools, 14 middle schools and 11 high schools. Kids ages 1 to 18 can take advantage of the program.

The summer meal program will run from June 11-28 for most elementary and middle schools and until June 29 for most high schools. Some schools will have meal service through July 19 or July 25. No meals will be served during the week of July 2-6.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for elementary schools and middle schools and 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. for high schools.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at all schools.
