The El Paso Museum of Art is offering studio art instructional classes to adults, teens, kids, and families. You can take classes in ceramic tableware and even classes that will lead up to Chalk the Block that happens next weekend, October 14 – 16.

In the ceramic tableware classes you’ll learn basic and new techniques through wheel thrown demonstrations, and hand building approaches to ceramics. Supplies are included and students will be allotted 25 pounds in clay. The Chalk the Museum Inside and Out classes will give you a space on the grid to make your mark or join teaching artist Phillip Ladd in the creation of a community mural on the blue wall facing the Plaza.

Details on both classes can be found here. They sound like a ton of fun and something that the whole family can participate in.
