Colorful Chalk the Block Event Returns to Downtown El Paso This Weekend
Break out the chalk and your artistic skills, Chalk the Block is back this weekend.
This Saturday and Sunday, downtown will become a living breathing canvas when the street art extravaganza returns live and in living color with lots of free family-friendly activities.
About Chalk the Block
Chalk the Block isn’t just about drawing on sidewalks and streets. There are interactive art installations, live music, a sidewalk chalk art competition, a vendor marketplace, and food trucks.
And chalk. Lots of chalk.
And what kid doesn't like to chalk up sidewalks? But you don't have to be a kid to draw on the pavement; everyone is encouraged to flex their artistic skills and paint the town red -- and purple, and blue, and yellow, and every other color in the box of chalk.
