El Paso got a lot of rain this winter, and that means this year’s display of poppies in the Franklin Mountains will be poppin’. The Annual Poppies Fest in Northeast El Paso is the perfect place to check out the carpets of little yellow blossoms that wow the city every spring.

On Saturday, April 4th, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, you can check out the poppies and see other beautiful plants and wildlife in the area.

You can’t park at the Museum of Archeology where the Poppy Fest is held, so shuttles will be available from the El Paso Community College from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and the shuttles are free.

You can also grab a bite to eat when you’re at the Poppies Fest from a variety of food vendors.

If you need more information, you can contact Debbie Cuilty, Event Coordinator at 915-490-4697, or deborah.cuilty@gmail.com.
