Blake’s Lotaburger & Souper Salad Close In West El Paso
Two more eateries have closed this year, Blake’s Lotaburger and Souper Salad off N. Mesa and Resler Dr. in West El Paso.
Earlier this week, we announced that both, Tacotote near UTEP had closed after 24 years, and Dairy Queen off Piedras St. is set to close on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Today, two more favorite eateries have closed their doors, including the Albuquerque burger chain, Blake’s Lotaburger, and the buffet-style eatery, Souper Salad.
Blake’s Lotaburger
A few years back, El Pasoans were thrilled when Blake’s Lotaburger, originally from Las Cruces, NM, opened in town. The burger chain, which is best known for its NM Hatch Green Chile burgers, has now closed its doors at the N. Mesa and Resler Dr. location in West El Paso.
At this time, the two other El Paso locations at 7122 Gateway Blvd., and 12371 Edgemere, are still open.
Souper Salad
The Souper Salad in west El Paso has also closed its doors to the public. The all-you-can-eat buffet featured made-from-scratch soups, fresh salads, and fruit, made-from-scratch bread, dessert, and more. Not sure if the ongoing pandemic initiated the closure, but the Eastside Souper Salad location off Viscount looks to be closed as well.
