Aug. 3-13, Plaza Classic Film Festival: The “world’s largest classic film festival” features movies of all genres and for all age groups shown at various downtown locations including the historic Plaza Theatre. Most will cost you a few buck, many are free to see. [Info]
Aug. 18-26, Movies in the Canyon: Free family-friendly movies shown on a state-of-the-art screen set up on the stage of the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre. Fridays and Saturdays. [Info]
Aug. 19, Zoo After Howlers: Enjoy the El Paso Zoo outside regular business hours. Instead of closing at 4 p.m. as it normally does, the zoo will stay open until 8:30 p.m. All attractions and exhibits open. [Info]
Aug. 19, Classical Mystery Tour - A Tribute to The Beatles: The El Paso Symphony Orchestra gives classic Beatles songs the symphonic treatment accompanied by four acclaimed musicians who look and sound just like The Beatles. [Info]
